Sadly, I have to admit that I agree with the flamers here :?

I have been a happy user of PT2 : stable, lots of useful functionalities, lots of sites supported, good performance ...

PT3 seems to be a very good application : clear, quite simple to use, and promising. But at the moment, 3 months after its release, there are simply too many problems to continue to accept your apologizes.

- Few sites supported. Yes, the main ones, but LOADS are missing.
- Even the so-called supported sites are not properly supported (Ongame for example)
- Many crashes. For example, I can't even try to create a Table groups stats in my HUd and display it on my Full Tilt tables, it crashes the HUD completely
- Many bugs. For example, I tried to filter the hands where I limped, and it selected a hand where I open raised from the SB.
- Performance issues. Core 2 E6650 with 2 Go RAM is needed to be able to run a 300k hands database and the HUD on 4 tables ? Come on ...
- Lack of crucial functionalities, like selective export, selective purge, auto-rate, default complex screens like the "more details" or preconfigured standard reports.

Dudes, you must really do something now for your users. PT3 seems to be a very promising software, no doubt about that, but you must understand now the other softwares on the market are far more complete and free of bugs than yours (Hold'em manager), that other in betas are at least as stable as your "commercial version" and that their development timelines are far more steady than yours (PokerStrategy Elephant). I think you rely on your notoriety, but people won't be fooled forever.

to answer your performance issue:

Since i started running both my poker apps and pt3 "as administrator" they run waaaay better than before. I had the same problems (high end pc and pt/hud lagging alot) but since I changed that is has become alot better.

Which makes it ununderstandable to me that there is no -EXTREMELY- obvious hint to run those programs as such on vista !? There should be a popup or something that tells you do change that every time you don't run pt as admin imo.

Just to add another point. How many releases / beta's have you said we want to do it write and fix the HUD. Still the HUD is a mess... I think maybe you should forget the HUD and partner with someone else to make a separate HUD application. At rate you are fixing the issues and adding new functionality Poker Tracker will not be ready for at least a year.

an absolute mess by pt3 i would ask for refund but they prob wont give it. Plus id like to have pt3 on mac sometime in next decade but i doubt it will ever arrive. I bought HEM last night and its much better, not 1 crash, it never ever chashes, good enough for me.

I'm in the process of building a new machine and as soon as its done I'll be moving to HEM. How big is your database? I found some of the reports really slow with my current machine. Poker Tracker 3, or as I like to call it "Poker Vista" is a good example of what not to do with a successful company.

db is only like 150k hands but its pretty rapid, no hud crashes and alot of other features which we wont see on pt3 for at least 6 months.

Wow, it's just a shame.

I can't believe that.

That's the last time I buy something here.

seriously, this is getting really rediculous. i understand that you didn't expect the first commercial release to be as unstable as it was but the bugfixing is just taking way too much time. i know that its not good to rush a release but you are telling your customers that a new stable beta/build is going to be released within the next few days for weeks now. maybe you should be releasing your betas more frequently to somewhat satisfy your customers, delaying a release for something that should be released weeks ago for another two weeks is just ridiculous.

actually pt3 works quite fine for me, still i find it pretty annoying how you deal with your customers. the only thing that keeps me from buying another product is that i'm a mac os user and i hope too see pt3 released for mac os before 2010 although i have doubts for this to happen.

We realise this is frustrating for everyone, but there is no point releasing the next version until it is ready - there are still some problems which have come up in alpha testing.
