It appears for whatever reason, bug, file system error, etc. that your database is missing important information which would cause this problem. This is no way related to a bug in Beta 16. Create a new database, reimport all of your hands, build the cache, and things should be peachy :)

Derek

Should Everyone be doing this?

Only if:

  1. You were affected by a previous bug where your stats were incorrect.
  2. You are receiving an error message much like the other user was experiencing
If you are not aware of any previous issues and there are no SQL errors now, then no, you do not need to create a new database.

Derek

I am willing to totally reload all the hand histories to get an accurate and working database, but how long does it take to purge a 1,068,000 data base? I have clicked purge and it just sits there with an hourglass? Is it locked up or is if eventually going to actually purge the damn thing. This is really aggravating. After hours of housecleaning I get a cockamamie error message. I am told to purge and start over and now I get an endless hourglass.

While trying to upgrade from beta15 to beta 16 several errors occurred during installation that I had to click ignore on just to get it to finish the installation. When I re-opened PT, it still says beta 15. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

teh stats come and go now. THE will go off tables and sometiems take minutes to get back on. ALso it seems to not recognize the cache created it is asking me to update cache whenever i start up pt3. Sometiems they will blink after every hand and some wont reappear on tables.

Great work - HUD performance is noticeably improved, but the problem of it selectively showing up remains (though restarting the program seems to be a workaround). Looking forward to updates.

I appreciate the effort you guys but in the development, but you have to understand that this is getting annoying. I bought PT3 a while ago, but the most important feature is missing and all we Ongame players keep hearing is: Sorry, but it's coming.

We need to get the HUD stable before adding it to other sites. I'm sure it will be right near the top of the list now.

btw: I read somewhere that I could get a license for PT2 and Hud. Where can I get that?

There is a link on the email you got with your PT3 key.

Why is this?

Can you go into greater detail about this?

So if I have 10 tables open only 30 hands will be observed for each table?

"30 mins required between sessions" What does this mean exactly? 30 mins between sessions sound to me like I can't import hands if I open 1 game and then a 2nd right after the first. The 2nd will not import until 30 mins after the 1st?

Pokerstars does not allow datamining, and this is a compromise solution to aid table selection.
Once you are seated and playing all your hands will imported as normal.
Only 30 hands can be imported per session across all tables.
I assume the 30 minute limit means that when you start auto import up to 30 hands can be imported and after that, no more hands can be imported until 30 minutes later.

What were the errors?
You need to make sure PT3 is not running when you install the update. Check Task Manager / Processes and end any pokertracker processes.

Another Beta without the lacking features. Sorry for for my inconvenience, and having only a limited amount of patience, but when will this feature be added.

And please come in a rush, it's now since 15th of May 2008 that there are features missing.
