You should not add these features. These are things everyone who takes poker seriously should know, and it would be wrong to have a software tell you if you should call or not. If you open that door, there is no turning back, PT is not, and should not be that kind of app.

I second that notion.

Software that tells you to fold/raise/call is very shortsighted.

It will be a beta release with Everest Poker support before the commercial release?

Well, I think you're confusing something here. A software calculating odds, outs and the relative strength of your holding in relation to the board does *not* tell you to fold/raise/call. It just provides you with some routine calculation that people usually do in their heads, and thus allows you to play more tables simultaneously.

I have both a PT license as well as a PO license, and I've been playing with both, so I'm speaking from experience here. And the extra stats you're getting with PO are far, far from what you need for automated play. The outs calculation for instance doesn't consider drawing dead situations or redraws. The pot odds don't consider implied odds or reverse implied odds. The relative hand strength doesn't consider plausible hand ranges for the action you've seen from a player, and it doesn't consider card removal effects. Balancing your playing lines isn't considered at all. Etc., etc, but still the stats are nice to have.

The biggest concern I have with any sorts of live stats is that they require messy interference with the poker client. PT reads saved hand histories at the moment, that's relatively easy to get right and rock solid. Live stats require poking around in the memory of the poker client to access the current game state, and this is prone to weird bugs, changing clients etc. PO has notorious stability and reliability problems due to that, which is the #1 reason I came back to PT.

8 days ago you said that there will be a beta release with everest poker? And you said that you were hoping to release the product half May. My question; can i download a everest patch or do i have to wait a bit longer. When will it be released?

Keep up the good work! And good luck with the final adjustments!

It's not available yet, but should be by mid-May.

Could you point me to where this was said? I do not think that either of us said Everest support would be ready in 8 days, in the next Beta...
