I did housekeeping and kept all 4 options checked. It is at 10 hours now and still 0%. I have clustered before and it definitely only took around 2 hours not 10, what is going on, and of course I can't cancel.

Does anyone else experience problems when creating new columns and statistics with beta 16? If i click on Save, they dont get saved. If i click on another stat, am asked if i want to save the new stat and say yes, i only get the same window again, asking me if i want to save the new statistic. It only seems to work if click Apply; this is really annoying if you want to create several positional columns.

OK, i doublechecked, i have no probs creating Statistics, only with columns. It doesnt save them with Apply. Can anyone confirm/deny that its since this beta? I reinstalled beta 15, but the problem is still there.

"You need to make sure PT3 is not running when you install the update. Check Task Manager / Processes and end any pokertracker processes."

Yes PT3 was not running anywhere. Should I end all postgres.exe that are running in the background?

There have been occasions where you close PT3 but if you look in your task manager you'll still see PokerTracker.exe running. You can either kill this process or just reboot. Either way, when done do the install again.

Never kill the postgres.exe processes via the task manager. This could lead to database corruption. If you need to shutdown PostgreSQL always go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Stop Service.

Another Beta without the lacking features. Sorry for for my inconvenience, and having only a limited amount of patience, but when will this feature be added.

And please come in a rush, it's now since 15th of May 2008 that there are features missing.

Please read State of PokerTracker which will explain the situation. We hope to have all PT2 features in PT3 by the end of September. Releases will start coming much faster now.

How is it messed up?

Buford61 wrote:I am willing to totally reload all the hand histories to get an accurate and working database, but how long does it take to purge a 1,068,000 data base? I have clicked purge and it just sits there with an hourglass? Is it locked up or is if eventually going to actually purge the damn thing. This is really aggravating. After hours of housecleaning I get a cockamamie error message. I am told to purge and start over and now I get an endless hourglass.

Purging a database of that size may take a couple hours, depending on your computer specs.

If you already have a support ticket, please respond to it with new log files from beta 16. If you don't have one open, please open one and (after enabling logging in PT3 Configure -> Options -> Logging) attach the PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHud.log files to the ticket.

loc2k wrote:Great work - HUD performance is noticeably improved, but the problem of it selectively showing up remains (though restarting the program seems to be a workaround). Looking forward to updates.

Do you mean it's only appearing on certain tables? Please reproduce this and attach log files to a support ticket.
