Question totally unrelated to others above (and if it's mentioned elsewhere I apologize):

When do you plan on expanding PT3 to include non-holdem games?

I keep getting this error, when trying to upgrade to build 4, I have just bought build 3 after my trial period expired. I have rebooted my laptop and made sure PT3 was not running prior to trying to upgrade, when I ignore the first error I get a similar error report, when I ignore that 1, it would appear that the installation works, but when it launches it still is listed as build 3.

Also when I go to launch PT3 the GUI does not appear and PT3 is not launched, when I click the shortcut again it says a version of PT3 is already running, so I have to open the task manager cancel the running PT3 exe and try and relaunch it, sometimes it works after this but other times I have to do this more than once before it launches.

I am running on Vista Home Premium and have the UAC disabled.

Any help would be appreciated asap please. I currently feel why did I bother paying for the full version when I am experiencing all these problems when I have just spent $90.

I have sorted the launch problem out by following the sticky vista thread, but still get the same error when trying to upgrade to build 4!!

Ongame cash games are fubared. This came at beta 23 or 24 and is still there.
1. Pt3 doesnt move processed files to processed folder. So everytime you start autoimport its processing old hands again.
2. Missing hands.
3. Hud is showing incorrect stats and isnt updating freguently anymore.
This is ridiculous, because build3 is still best for ongame cash games and its like 8months old. Time to buy hem..

(1) This was a deliberate change. Moving the file caused problems for many people, so instead we revered to the old functionality of clearing the OnGame database. To clear the OnGame Hand History database, on the auto import tab click OnGame on the left, then OnGame Configuration on the right and then "Clear Databases Now" and that will clear your OnGame hand history database. We recommend you do this often; after every session if possible.

(2) Clearing the OnGame database should fix this.

(3) Once the OnGame database is cleared the correct stats should be showing as well.

This won't happen for a while. We need to get more sites added, and catch up with full functionality for holdem first.

No, you don't have to if you are adding existing stats to the HUD, but if you create new custom stats and don't rebuild the cache then HUD performance will suffer because the cache can't be fully used. It may not cause you any big problems if you don't have huge databases.

You need to make sure PT3 isn't running before you install the update.

Ok, so if i had to add stats like 4bet, cbet turn,.. all stats existing in PT3, i don't have to update the cache.
I only update if i create a non existing stat or dl a stat from the repository on this forum.

I have 5 big databases.

Right. Only when you create a totally new stat using new columns do you need to update the cache. If you're just adding different default statistics to the HUD, updating the cache is not necessary.

Hi, this should hopefully be a quick question.

After upgrading to build 4 from Beta 24, I have found that when importing Stars tournament summaries the total # of players in the tournament does not automatically update as it used to. The database continues reading the number of players in the tourney as only those I have hands on, even though it has a full list of the players who entered. Do I need to go into the tournament data screen and manually update with the number of players who began each tournament?

Say for example I play a 180 man, bust 180th. I have hands on 8 people other than myself. When I import the summary from Stars (following the conclusion of the tournament), the database maintains that though it was a 20 table SNG, only 9 players entered.

Thanks
