Now I can't get the pop up feature to work. Ideas?

Did you actually delete the popup group, or just turn it off in the 'on table' group?
i.e. when you go to the Groups tab, can you still see it listed?

You can get back to the original layout by removing (with PT3 closed) the layouts file:
c:\program files\pokertracker 3\data\layouts.pt3

Note that this will remove all your layout configuration.

No, I definately deleted it. I was having a problem adding a new pop up group so tried deleting the defaualt group. Why would I want to remove all my layout configuration? I just want to get the pop up to work.

I followed these instructs to try to create a new pop up group before and after deleting the default pop up group, but couldnt get it to work.

How do I set up pop-up boxes?

This is a two step process.

First, you have to create the group that you want to pop up, we'll call it Group P. Create the group you want to show as a pop-up box (with whatever statistics you prefer) and set “Popup Use Only” under the “Show” box.

Second, you have to choose a different group, call it group Q that, when you click on it, will display the popup. Choose whichever other group you want, and select Group P under the “Popup” box. Then when you click on Group Q when it is displayed on the table, Group P will be shown as a popup box.

If you remove the layout file, the default one will be recreated, which includes the pop up.
If you don't want to do that, you can create a new pop up group.

What don't you understand about those instructions?

Sorry for the delay, was out of town. I think I understand all you have mentioned. I followed the instructs to create a new pop-up group and it won't popup. I tried several times and when that didnt work posted here that I deleted default popup group (after several tries to set up a new popup group). I have read your posts and still don't have an answer on whether or not deleting the "default pop" is a problem, IYO. Of course i would prefer not to re-configure the layout since I invested a bunch of time getting my display exactly how I like it.

If you think my problem is that I deleted the default popup let me know and i will reconfigure, if that is necessary. You don't really address that issue in your posts. Again, i'm 100% sure I deleted the default (since i couldnt get it to work with the default listed). The default popup did work when I first tried it.

If you have made other changes that you don't want to lose, then you will need to create a new pop up group. (if not, you can reset to the default, which includes the popup, by deleting the file I mentioned).

As mentioned several times (I even posted these directions so you saw I had it) I have followed these exact directions many times in the last 3 days with no luck. I understand and implemented these directions before and after deleting default pop up.

Lets just drop it, thx for trying. Maybe i'll try for some help at 2+2.

It sets up P and Q groups fine in HUD config but when i clik on displayed HUD stats on poker table nothing pops up.

Please answer this question I keep asking that you never have answered:

Will my deletion of the DEFAULT POPUP stats possibly lead to my problem of not having the group P/Q pop up to work (doesnt popup).

I think this may be my issue but you sidestep this question in every post you make. Ive asked 3 times?
