Poker Stars Auto Import

Hello,

I'm new to PT, and of course to PT3. In playing with the auto-import feature, the system works great for FullTilt cash games and tourneys, but it wouldn't show my results or HUD on Stars. I noticed that even when I was playing a cash game on stars, every other player's stats on the HUD came up, but mine didn't. This is also evident in the analysis area of PT, where it shows each other player that was at my table on stars, but not me. What's going on? Did my placement on the table (in the bottom right corner) affect the graphics of the HUD and in so doing not allow PT to import the hand histories?

Thanks for your help and time.

What version of PT3 are you using? I assume it's Beta 17 since Pokerstars hands are importing?
If your own stats are showing up at Full Tilt, then you must have the HUD configured OK. Are you showing your own stats as part of a 'show on table for everyone' Group, or have you created a new Group for 'show on table for hero only'?

Have you set up an alias to link your 2 players? What version were you running when you did this?

Thanks for the response.

I'm using PT3, beta 17 (the most recent build available for download).

I have not created any new groups; all is set as default. I'm guessing that it's set as 'show on table for everyone', as everyone's stats are showing up, even on stars (except mine, of course).

I've not set up an alias to link my 2 accounts, though I did figure out how to tell PT which alias was mine for Tilt. How do I link the two accounts? Does it matter that the user name for Tilt and Stars are not the same?

Thanks again!

I wouldn't link the 2 accounts just yet, let's get the problem with your PS stats sorted first.
(But FYI, to link them select the one you want to be the main name that will be shown, and then use the "alias" section top right on the General tab to link your other name. No, it doesn't matter that the names are different.)

This could be to do with the pokerstars update, although I'm not sure about that.
Please enable logging, reproduce the problem by playing a few hands on a single table and submit your PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHUD.log files (zip/compress them first, call it logs.zip) to the
Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

As a follow up:

Due to an unrelated computer issue, I had to wipe out my machine and reinstall stars, tilt, and PT3 (beta 17). Since doing this, I've tried to start playing on stars to get some logging, but as I try to auto-import hand histories, PT gives me the error that:

"Unable to launch auto-import for site: PokerStars. Reason: PokerStars auto-importer needs configured."

Under the tab "PokerStars Configuration" there is red text which reads "PokerStars is not configured to save hand histories to disk.", and there is no Hand History Directory listed. Do I need to configure a place for stars to save hand histories that I get emailed?

I also get this error when I attempt to auto import hand histories from FullTilt. How do I configure this site as well?

I didn't have to configure anything when messing with PT last night before the program reinstall....so what do I have to do now?

Please see the site specific guides in the Documentation which explain how to configure each site to write hand histories to file so that PT3 can read them.
