how do I use all the stats

Postby cubicles » Wed Mar 05, 2008 3:35 am

New to PT and I just finished my first session with PT running. Is there a reference area or sticky that goes over what some of the stats mean, what range you need to be in based on what game you are playing and whether it is full ring/hu/sh?

Thanks,

There is [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/PT3/docs/?doc=statrefofm]documentation[/urlofm] on the what the stats mean, but it's not about trying to get yourself into a particular range as everyone plays differently. Please feel free to ask more questions once you're read the docs.

Thanks but I guess I am looking for ranges. Obv 50% VPIP in a full ring LHE game is way to high so I am trying to see if there is any reference material or previous posts that help explain aggression factor or things I need to look out for. I understand what they stats are I am just not sure how to relate them to my game.

The best way to get accustomed to how the stats apply to your game is to play and get used to them. The more you play, the more comfortable you will get with the stats and how to incorporate them into your game.

There are also a lot of poker communities on the web that will be able to assist you with interpreting the stats and using them to help your game. Do a Google search and I am sure that you can find some good poker message boards.

Best regards,
