"Realtime-ness" of PT

Postby EauSauvage » Fri Mar 07, 2008 6:13 am

Hi,

I am currently investigating the possibilties of writing a new add-on for PT3. Therefore, I am just wondering about the basic technical workings of PT:
Is it true that every time an "action" is completed (action = betting round, flop, turn, river, etc.), this "action" is extracted by PT from the poker room software and written in the PT database? Or are all those actions recorded in the database only when a hand is completed?
In the end, I want to be able to calculate and display results each time an action is performed - more or less in "realtime"

Plus: Is there a sort of technical white paper how PT works?

Thx

The hand isn't written by the sites until it is complete. There is no documentation that gets into the nitty-gritty of how PT3 works on the inside.
