I am interested in exactly how the att. to steal blind percentage is being calculated.

Also does the calculation change in 6 max ring games, 9 max ring nl ring games and tournaments, (example using the hijack position in tournies or full ring)

Also, are their filters that allow you to switch which positions this figure is being calculated from?

In 6 max games does this calcuation take pfr when folded to from the cutoff, button, and small blind to calculate this figure? Can you filter which positions you want to take this figure from?

Please answer this same question for full ring and tournaments for me if you know the answer thanks.

I ask these questions because from what I understand this figure is being calculated differently from different software. There is no standard as to where this calculation should be calculated from. Example when folded to and pfr occurs some leave out the small blind. Some include the hijack.

PT3 calculates a steal attempt as any open raise from the CO, Button or SB. It doesn't matter how many players, or whether you're playing cash or tournaments. You can filter by position, so you can see the steal attempt stats for individual positions, or you can add the Att to Steal stat to the report on the Positions tab.

PT2 includes situations where someone posts early ahead of your raise from the CO, button or SB (with no one else in) as a steal attempt, since they are effectively in a blind.

Does PT3 do the same?

Yes, as long as the person who posted the dead blind checks, a raise from the CO/Button/SB is still considered a raise.
