Want to start a new database

Postby cantshaikme » Sat Apr 25, 2009 12:48 am

Alright so I don't know what's wrong with my stuff, but my cashgame graph starts at like 4k in the black with just a huge spike that goes up on the first hand or something. i don't really care. I just want to keep all the stats that I have on players in my database and just erase everything else and start over. Can I do this? Also does pokertracker keep track of sngos'? Like cashes and stuff or do you have to enter the cashes manually. Also I am changing user names on Fulltilt poker (this has been authorized, long story etc.. and I cant remember how to sync different usernames across different sites. How do I do this and erase my old username/ link the new one?

On Full Tilt PT3 can figure out your finishes in tournaments because FTP writes summaries to your computer. For other sites you need to import tournament summaries or manually enter the information, see the Tournaments FAQ.

With regards to your cash game graph: if you look on your Sessions tab for yourself you should be able to find the session that's causing the problem. If you then click Database --> Database Management --> Purge ... you can remove just that session from your database.

You can link your new username to your old one or the other way around whichever you prefer. You do this by going to whichever name you want to be your main name on the Texas Holdem -> General tab, then click the blue Edit link under the word "Aliases" (it's near the top right of the General tab), then add your other name to the name you're on as an alias. Note that the more hands you have on the player you're adding as an alias the longer the process will take. (So it's faster to add a new user with 2 hands to an old user with 200,000 hands than the other way around.) Either way once you do this all stats from both names will be merged.

I'm still trying to figure out how to purge that session, and now hands arent' importing from FTP? Still works on the other site I play though.

OK I found the sessions I need to purge there are two. In the big long list of sessions they are the first two. but how do I select them individually? It seems like it wants to purge every single session in that list.

In the Purge ... window, highlight one player in the session (you) on the left, then highlight the session you want to purge on the right and click the "Purge Session(s)" button and that will purge just the highlighted session.

ok got the database taken care of. Why would Fulltilt stop importing hands now, not importing at all, just overnight?
