Running PT2 and PT3 at the same time.

I am looking for someone to confirm what I suspect to be true. When I am playing right now, today, I can open up PT2 and PAHUD to get stats on my tables and document the session as usual, but I can also open up and auto-import PT3, correct? Both PT2 and PT3 will have access to do what they do to the HHs without getting in each other's way?

Thanks, and sorry if this is an easy one.

Yes, you can run them at the same time.

Similar question...

I'm converting PT2 to PT3 but the process is going to take hours with the amount of hands I'm converting.

Is it OK to fire up PT2 and play while the conversion is taking place, without disrupting the conversion routine? Assuming this is possible, what happens to the hands I play during this time - will they convert as well or do I need to do something else to get those across?

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to trying PT3!

OK I'm going to chance it! My conversion is running at 0.1 hands/sec and I can't wait any longer to play poker! ;-)

I'll let you know if it all goes horribly wrong. :D

You would be much better served, if you exported your PT2 hand histories to file(s) then imported them via the manual import in PT3.

Best regards,

Derek

OK thanks I will try that. I'll wait until there is a HUD for FT.
