M Stat

Just upgraded to 3.07.3Beta and noticed that an M stat is now included. I am using the M stat from the advanced tourney HUD thread and now when I look to modify my configuration there are two M stats listed as available stats. Both have exactly the same mouseover comment and nothing to distinguish which is which. Is there any difference? How do I tell? How do I ensure I'm using the embedded stat rather than the workaround from the advanced tourney HUD thread. Should I be concerned?

The built-in stat will take precedence but of course you still probably want to delete your custom M stat. It will be the one listed in blue.

Neither of them are in blue. Like I said in the op, there's no distinction between the two Ms.

That's a bug. Here's a workaround when you have time:

1) Install Beta 3.07.2
2) Delete your custom M stat
3) Install Beta 3.07.3

We'll also get the bug fixed so if prefer you can wait for that as well. Also if you want an automatic email notification feel free to create a support ticket and reference this thread.

I have to add.....I never adding the custom M stat. Now under my stats I see 2 M stats available to add. They are both located under informational.

What I would like to know is how to color them. Anybody know of a post that explains this?

The issue with having a custom stat with the same name as a built-in stat will be addressed in the next release.

Kraada's How To: Advanced HUD Configuration explains how to colour stats in the stat definition itself, but if you just want to colour the M stat using it's own value you can do that using HUD Color Ranges.

one question....what does stat:M mean? i have it in my omaha tourney hud but dont know what stands for...thx

M is the ratio of your stack to the cost to play one orbit. You can think of it as how many rounds hands you could fold before you would be blinded all-in. It originally came from Harrington on Holdem.
