I configured new laptop with my old database from my old crashed computer. I imported successfully after 10 mins of importing. When I go to PT3 I don't see any of my old history. I only see history of my most recent game I played. I made sure no filters are enabable. How do I get my history back?

Please note I didn't realize you can backup and restore within PT3. I open Postgres Admin and right mouse click the PT3 database and choose export. I tried restoring from Postgres Admin the same way. It appear to restore successfully but I don't see any of my history in PT3. This is the only file I have, I hope it can be done?

Please make sure you didn't have a filter set - try clicking Clear and see if your data shows up - if you had a filter for "Played Today" that would've been kept through the database backup process.

I'm in the process of uninstalling everything. I notice Postgres latest ver is 9.x but I was pretty sure I was using 8.x. When I tried to download from Postgres site I see 9.x but its for only Solaris OS. What version does PT3 install from a brand new installation?

We use the 8.3 version by default - any version 8.3 or newer will work with PT3 though, and a backup should restore in any version 8.3 or newer.

Okay, I never changed any version except what the default of PT3 is. I'm restoring again now via Postgres Admin. Lets see a clean uninstall and reinstall did the trick.

Restoring from Postgres Admin. After about an hour of the import process I get a message. Process returned exit code 1. I then click okay and it ask me if I want to repeat the restore? I then click No and Cancelled. Then I open up PT3 and click on the Texas Holdem Tab and click on Tournaments Tab and I see 0 Players.
Any suggestions?

Error code 1 just means there were tables or indexes with that name already existing - the restore should still have completed. Are you certain you had no filter set? Any previously set filter would still apply after a restore and you would need to click Clear to see new data.

Definitely odd. I did a fresh install of PT3 and Postgres. Once installed I did my Postgres restore and then opened PT3 for the first time. So unless any filters are installed by default I have not touched it. Looking at PT3 appears not filter are defined.
What to do?
