Zoom hud shows slow

Hi,

HUD is updated very slowly. In many cases, the hand have to go to the river until the hud shows is this normal ?
My database is BIG over million. should I update postgres currently used 8.3

Vista 64 Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz (at 3402 MHz)

Is the cache at 100% in the status bar at the bottom of PT3?
If not, run Database > Housekeeping.
Check the FAQ: PT3 HUD for other tuning tips.

If you're not using the latest 8.3.18 version you could update - that may help a little, but unless you have a very old 8.3.x version (before 8.3.9, say) then it won't make a huge difference. If you want to update there are Directions here.

My cache was 0% After housekeeping cache is now 100% and hud seems working.

Just wondering is it possible to make hud only show zoom hands or should I make new database for zoom ?

It's not possible to have the HUD display Zoom only hands - if you want that behavior at this point you would need to create a new Zoom-only database.
