housekeeping after first import?

Hello,
if I get a new computer and install everything, and import my 500.000 hands from the Process folder..., is it necessary to run housekeeping after this first import? or it is assumed that after the first import the housekeeping is not necessary?

You do want to run housekeeping after that first import. For PT3, Vacuum Analyze and Update Cache will provide massive performance improvements even (in fact especially) after any import that large.
