Hi there,
If I uncheck the Move Processed Files option in PT3, will all functions still be the same during play (HUD etc) but the files simply wont be moved from the poker site folder? I ask because my poker coach has requested using the 'raw' files for study (not sure why tho).
Many thanks

We strongly recommend not turning that option off - leaving those files in place will slow down PokerTracker as every time you start auto importing the hands will need to be re-read. You can find the original hands in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Processed folder - all original hands will go there by default and you can ship your coach the appropriate files from that folder.

Many thanks for the quick response. Other than slowing down the software, will there be any other implications in the way the software works during live play, and will I still see an up to date HUD. I have been asked to keep around 20 STT HHs for analysis, after which I will turn 'Move To...' back on.

After time the numbers of those files will build up and cause problems but if you're only doing it for 20 tournaments it shouldn't be that bad.
Still, it'll be just as easy to play your 20 tournaments and then grab the 20 most recent files out of the processed folder. We don't alter them at all, just move them.
