Split Database

Postby ipwndonks » Sat May 17, 2008 4:09 pm

I saw how you can import hands into two seperate databases in PT3. Is there a way to split a converted PT2 database into one for my played hands and one for my observed hands?

Yes. Under the preferences tab of autoimport, set "import observed hands" to a different database.

I tried that but it didn't move the hands. I also tried reconverting it with those preference selected, but it just moved them all to the active database.

I don't know whether the conversion process would use the setting. You could try it by exporting the hand history files from PT2 and using a manual into PT3. I assume that the setting would be used there, though I'm not completely sure - you could test it on a small number of files first to see if it works.
