PT3 to PT2

Postby richl4200 » Sun May 18, 2008 7:04 pm

I'm a new user of pokertracker and a bit unfamiliar with the program. I got an email offering me a free version of PT2 and PAHud from the promotional offer. I would like to run pt2 and pahud for now until some of the bugs are fixed and some of the features are added. All my hand histories are now in the Pokertracker 3 database. I was wondering how to go about this process, since I wasnt sure if I need to delete PT3 or how to get the hand histories into PT2 without deleting them. Thanks in advance.

Export them. Reimport the text files that result into PT2.

Database -> Database Management. Select the database containing the hands you want, then click Export. Choose a folder and note where it is. In PT2, do a manual import from that folder.

Can you do the same thing with PT3 on one computer to another computer and PT3 i.e export to file, move file to new computer and import into PT3?

Yes. It will work just fine doing that as well.
