Exporting from PT2/Importing into PT3

Postby toad » Sat Mar 08, 2008 1:03 pm

Hi....

I'm trying to get some recent hands out of my PT2 database by using the Utilities:Export Hand Histories to File... as suggested in other posts. PT3 does not seem to be able to read these exported files at all. PT3 states that it has read 1 hand but this is done incorrectly and the other hands in the file are not read at all. All my hands are from Party and I'm aware from previous posts that Party changes its format regularly and this causes you problems but all hands I'm trying are from a few days ago. I'm also using Ver 2.17.01g of PT2. I show below an extract from the exported txt file:

I copied/pasted what you put here into a new file and it imported fine into PT3. If you are using a new database and still can't get it working, please attach one of these hand history files to a support ticket.

Have you tried doing this by setting up an SQL database?
