HUD moves to chat window FT

I have my table window open on my main monitor and the chat window open in one of the other monitors. Occasionally, the HUD refreshes and moves from the table window to the chat window. If I close the chat window the HUD will shortly position itself again over the table window. I can then reopen the chat window and all is well for a while.

This happens with no apparent frequency. Any one have any thoughts on what is wrong here?

Hi -

Not being able to see your setup I suspect the chat window has a title identical to your table and the HUD thinks the chat window is the table. My chat window has "Chat:" preceeding the chat window title but I've seen one other which did not include "Chat:". It's probably a bug in the Full Tilt software but it might be helpful to submit a ticket while logging and 1) playing for 10 minutes and opening/closing tables with 2) your chat window active and 3) a couple screenshots (jpg, png, bmp, not docx or doc).

Hi, I have the same issue. I notice that it's listed as a requirement for playing FT that the chat window is not detached in this doc:

Thing is, I like having it detached as it tells me what has happened in the *current* hand when it comes round to me, important when multitabling. Is there another way to see this info?

I'm on PT4 trial only at the mo.

This is the first I've heard about this particular issue affecting our software in a very long time (note you were replying to posts from 2009).

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. If you could include a screenshot of the HUD on the wrong window that would help as well.

Thanks for the quick and helpful response kraada. I've subbed it, hopefully correctly. Ticket number is 139566.

I assumed it was an outstanding issue since its down on the requirements; I was more expecting advice on how to see events in current hand than a fix! Although that would obviously be great. That's all I'm wanting a detached chat for.

Also... I don't seem to have it working for Matrix tourneys on FT, although it is pulling the hands in to the database:
