FTP "Multi-Entry" Tournament Summary Import Not working

Postby tghay » Wed Apr 23, 2014 6:18 am

Not sure if this is known or just me but since I think the last FTP update or when I updated PT4 a week ago FTP tournament summaries will not auto-import or manually import. Hand history import is working fine. When I enter a multi-entry tourney multiple times no data is auto imported. Normal FTP tournament summaries work fine, just the Multi entries don't.

The tournament does appear with it's number and entry number but no prize, entry fee or finish data is there.

When manually importing the tournament summary I get this error as I guess manual import doesn't work.

01:41:46 pm: Warning: Full Tilt: Multi-Entry tournament summaries must be imported at the same time as hands. (Line #11)
01:41:46 pm: + Complete (0 hands, 0 summaries, 0 errors, 0 duplicates)
01:41:46 pm: Import complete. No hands or summaries in 1 file were imported. (0 errors, 0 duplicates)

Please attach the original hand history file(s) and the multi entry summary to a support ticket and we'll look into it further for you. Note, as the warning states, the MET summary needs to be imported at the same time as the hands.

Full Tilt have changed their tournament summary file format a little and this means that PT4 can no longer read it correctly. The development team are working on this now but please do open your ticket as kraada suggested.

How do I attach files here?, or do you want me to paste the loads of text straight in here?

Don't attach them here - attach them to a Support Ticket.

This should be fixed in our next release. Barring any unforeseen surprises, 4.11 should be out pretty soon.

I just played 3 entries in a multi-entry on ft. Once the tournament summaries were imported, two of the entrys were detected incorrectly as "rebuy multi-entry" type and the other one came in as "multi-entry."

Also, I am confused about the three different types that actually exist on ft: multi-entry, re-entry and rebuy. are multi-entry and re-entry tournaments both considered multi-entry by pt?

In fact it looks like any secondary entries of a multi-entry only (w/o rebuy+addons) tournament are detected as "rebuy multi-entry" which doesn't seem right to me. If we wanted to track each of the entries as different types of tournaments then they should be called "multi-entry 1" and "multi-entry 2" etc. but really i don't see the point and certainly these should not be titled as the rebuy type when it isn't even a rebuy tournament.
