No, the hand histories are not being written as I play.

As soon as I begin to auto import the status window fills up with the following types of hands:

Full Tilt: Loading hand history file: C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory\SFE.tmp

When I go to my 'processed' file in my program files folder there are all kinds of 'tmp' files rather than the usual 'text document' files that my HHs are normally stored as.

Yes, my 'move processed files' option is enabled.

I have also noticed that, even though I am not datamining nor is PT3 importing any of the hands that I am playing, the value in the 'duplicates' window right above the import status window keeps increasing.

Finally, something must be going on in the background because my computer is very slow while PT3 is running...much slower than usual.

Those files are observed hand histories; they're named as .tmp files by Full Tilt.

Are you running Windows Vista? If you are and you aren't running PT3 as admin it might not be able to move the files; check to make sure it's set by right clicking the PT3 desktop icon.

Where do you have the moved processed files directory to send the files to? (On the Preferences tab on the Auto Import tab.)

No I'm not running Vista.

I move my processed files to C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Processed

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and attempt to import while playing for one full orbit then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log files to a support ticket and we'll look into what could be causing this for you.

I enabled logging but the log files were not created. PT3 is not importing any hand histories at all at the moment.

Please make sure that PT3 is running as Administrator if you are using Windows Vista (right click the PT3 icon on the desktop and check "run as admin"). The log files are not in the log directory, they are in the main PT3 directory, and they may appear as text files named PokerTracker and PokerTrackerHud, but if logging is enabled, the next time you start PT3 as administrator they will be written.

i think the problem is that when dmining with spadeit , spadeit actually seems to 'grab' the pokertracker gui as you cannot place any other windows over the pokertracker interface, they always go behind it.
this doesn't happen with freephg. So i use spadeit as the tableopener and freephg as the memory grabber
