What file are you trying to zip?
The hand history file itself shouldn't be very big.

Sorry, yes - you do need to zip the two log files.
If you stop/start PT3 then just open a single table and play a few hands the log files shouldn't be too big. Close all the other tables before you start.

How long did you run PT3 for? If you start it and play a short session on a single table then stop it again, the log files should be pretty small. How big are the original log files before you zip them?

Are you sure you're zipping the log files and not the application itself?

The files should be:
c:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log
c:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHUD.log

If you have file extensions turned off you won't see .log on the end, but they should appear as text documents.

i played like ten hands on a STT and the compressed file was 5.2 mb the noncompressed files were 4.48 and 2.94 mb respectively
