i tryied to access the file per the instructions but it say window cant open because it doesnt know what program created it . i still at a loss

It's a text file - you can open it in Notepad.

Yeah i have the same problem,also have XP and upgraded to Beta 28.3 and since then PT3 doesn't start anymore(not even the PT3 start loading screen comes)! So I installed build 4 .... but that version doesnt't work with my layout!Can anyone send me beta 28.1 or 28.2 or tell me where i can download it?,cause with that versions everything was ok!

Windows wont open the file doesnt know what program created it -? i read the vista issues and it seems alot of people are getting the same problems but were running xp ?

ok got it sorry havin a donk morning -- so the text file is open and Y for logging . do i copy that info and send to Derek ??

You can't re-install Build 4 as there have been too many changes since then.
Please re-install Beta 28.3 and submit a bug report as requested by Derek/APerfect10.
Once you've done this you can re-install Beta 28.1 from this link - please submit your bug report first, though, so we can work out what the problem is.

VMan - glad you worked it out.
The file you need to attach to your ticket is PokerTracker.log in the main PT3 folder.
