Here is the only other noticeable hand I could find out of the 115 that PT3 missed and HEM properly imported in DEC. It's actually me not listed in the beginning for this hand, so it appears to be the same problem.

This still leaves the issue with rake. I'm not sure how PT3 consistently reports 10% less rake than HEM for as many months as I can remember now. This is a substantial difference!

If you can indentify any hands (or even sessions) which show a different rake then please attach them to a Support ticket and we'll check it out.
Are you sure that HEM's rake is correct? Is the rake figure there the real rake amount taken from the pot? (i.e. it's not some other contributed or weighted rake calculation)
It's also possible that they have imported some invalid hands which have a bigger error than the ones identified here.

I found another one of the hands that produced an import error with PT3 today and it's the same thing; one of the players who posted the BB was not in the seat list. I'm guessing this is a common error that's been around for months or longer and prob responsible for most if not all of the import errors I've noticed. ~0.1%.

WRT the rake, I don't see anywhere where HEM tabulates rake on the hand to hand basis. So I have no clue. Just bringing this stuff to your attention, it's up to you what you do with it. I just use PT3 for Kradas HUD anyway, so it doesn't affect me to much. I'll just keep using HEM for accurate tracking of my results and post game analysis.

Yes, I suspect that the "errors" caused by these invalid hand histories. I'm not aware of any rake errors with complete hands so if you spot one please let us know and we'll check it out.

I searched for the HH that gave the following message: Cereus Network: Error: Invalid pot size for hand #1012320483707 (Hand #1012320483707) today.

It says "invalid pot size" but when I found the hand it had the same problem with not listing a player who was in the hand. Seems like this could be an easy fix for you guys no?

About the rake...I wish I didn't have to do the leg work here..

You know this whole thread is all to familiar. Reminds me of when I was grinding CAKE in late 2009 and PT3 was hopeless, missing a large % of the hands. I posted on here and got the same kind of response. "IF" I submit a report or "IF" I spot a bug then I should let you guys know and only then will you actually do something. With CAKE last year you guys were actually implying it was me having the problem only, like it was some isolated incident rather than admit that your developers had some work to do. It was actually this incident that pushed me to shell out the money and buy HEM in the first place. I re-imported all the same raw HH and HEM had it all figured out near perfect. Eventually you guys got it fixed and it was established it was a weakness in your software all along.

We don't play as many hands as you guys at each available site (if we did, you wouldn't have PT3 at all) so we need the examples to work with. When we come across errors ourselves we investigate them, but we just don't have the time to play the volume of hands at all the sites we support to spot every little issue.
If you could compare the rake for sessions in PT3 and HEM and find a discrepency then we'd be happy to investigate it, but if HEM isn't reporting rake then I can see that would be difficult. If it's only individual hands where you can't see the rake you paid then a whole session with a difference would be fine - we'll be happy to look into that in more detail.

I will reiterate your request to the development team, but as discussed earlier there is a danger to importing invalid hand histories since there could be other information missing or incorrect too. Have you reported these invalid hands to Cereus support too? If they fix the error in writing the hands then the issue will go away anyway.

Listen thanks for being patient with me. I'm not really as big of an A** as I seem. My last session. PT3 reports 107.55 rake, HEM 108.74. The one before that PT3 115.10, HEM 121.03. So I don't think its some major difference like HEM using contributed method calculations, ect.

If you're serious about looking into it. I'll supply anything you need.

Thanks and sorry for taking out my tilt on you guys.

Please attach the hand history file for a session where you see a difference to a Support ticket and include a link to this thread. The shorter the session the easier it will be to track down a difference as I may need to check every individual hand.
Please note the rake that you see reported in both PT3 and HEM for the attached session, and in the case of PT3 which exact stat / section / report you got the rake value from.
Thanks.

Ok I have a perfect example for you. I have a 29 hand session where PT3 reports $1.15 rake and HEM 3.17. Hopefully the problem will be obvious from this. I'll just track down the actual raw HH's and make a support ticket.

Thanks
