Maybe I should clarify what's going on here, and I'm sure I'm not alone in facing this type of problem.
I'm in the Eastern North American Time Zone, playing PS tournies only (so I can't speak for other games/sites).
I have both PT2 & PT3 running together (for reasons beyond scope of this post). PT2 is auto-importing the table(s) at which I'm playing, PT3 is doing likewise, but also auto-importing the 30 PS-permitted observed hands.
In both PT2 (Tourney Notes tab), and PT3's Tournaments Tournaments tab, the tourney start times are correctly shown. Dates are yyyy/mm/dd HH:MM. No problem. (Please see the screen dump I attached to the ticket.)
PT3 then reaches the 30-hand observed limit, so I now want to import these observed hands into PT2. In PT3, Database Management, Export, Tournament Hands, Session Date, Specific Date, Today, Export Hands, select target folder, Export.
PT3 exports hands for what it thinks are that day. In the target folder, I see two files:
PokerStars_HoldemHandsExport_YYYYMMDDHHMM_tourney_00001.txt, and
PokerStars_HoldemTnySumExport_YYYYMMDDHHMM_00001.txt.
Now, here's the interesting thing: In the 1st file, the HH file - PokerStars_HoldemHandsExport_YYYYMMDDHHMM_tourney_00001.txt - the time flags are correct. For all hands in the file.
It's the SUMMARY which has the wrong Date/time flag. It's 5 hours earlier, so for tournies played (say) on Friday after 1900 Eastern, the Summary thinks it started on Saturday, after midnight. 5 hours later.
PT3 seems to be looking at the time flag in the summary to be exported, to determine which hands it exports?
Weird, huh?
When I import the PokerStars_HoldemHandsExport_YYYYMMDDHHMM_tourney_00001.txt into PT2, everything is copacetic, and date/time flags are accurately recorded.
Now, if kraada is telling me that the beta will ensure that future exports will not have this anomaly, fine, what's past is past, and I have all those HHs in PT2 anyway. Is that what I'm reading, please?
Again, thanx for the support.
