try downloading the installer to a different hard-drive, or to a cd, and run the install from there...

Ok, I downloaded the installer to a CD, then ran the CD, and it download just fine. Thanks again for all the help Susan.

This problem is caused by having PT3 open while trying to download. When you click on "download new version here" be sure to go back and close PT3 application before trying to download.
