This isn't true - the limit tables are still 10 seat.
The NL tables now appear to be all 9 seat, but that wasn't the case initially - they changed some levels before others.
As I said, once they finish making their changes we'll be able to make some sensible defaults, but until that point any changes we make are likely to be counteracted by further Party updates.

Add "PT-icon > Treat As 9 max (preferred seating is OFF)", "PT-icon > Treat As 9 max (preferred seating is ON)" and release an update only for Party for instance. :)

ok when i said "at least i can play now" i did not know how horrible it is to play without prefered seating and when i must click "treat as 9 max" on every table.

i must correct myself:

this is no solution, PT3 HUD is unusable! now for multitabling on PartyPoker

i hope you guys fix that soon. i dont know why you did not implement a function to autotreat all tables as 9 max....PayrtPoker announced the changes some time ago

For now, yes. I do not believe the 9max list that they are 9max in the hand histories (I could be wrong) therefore, it is impossible for us to know whether they are 9max or 10max.

You will need to do this until either:

1. Party lists that they are 9max in the hand history
2. Party completely eliminates 10max tables so that all full-ring tables are 9max

i dont understand why you think so complicated...

I checked all NL limits at PartyPoker and there are 3 10-ax tables at NL3000, the rest has 9 max only, even on NL5000 are just 9 max tables
Just make all NL tables treated as 9 max. On which limits do you think are more players? NL3000 or all the other NL-limits?

i think the answear is clear. who knows if party ever makes its FL tables as 9 max. it might take a long time till you change it.

atm PT3 is unusable for me and many others. in different pokercommunities/forums people complain about this topic. and most of those players are NL400 or below. by changing your system, now you satisfy more players than you frighten by not doing it.

i completely agree with last post of assitoni !! :!:

partypoker clearly stated they will change ALL nl-fullring-tables to 9-seat and leave fl/pl-tables as 10-seated. i also saw those only 3 (three) 10-seat tables from NL3000 which assitoni talks about, and i think there are just remains of the "10to9-seat migration"

one more argument to do it is that in HH PT3 could recognize stakes/limits/nonlimits tables and "know" how many seats... but the argument that beats them all is "by changing your system, now you satisfy more players than you frighten by not doing it" as again assitoni said... :!:

think about it like PT3 is a product (a successful one imo!) who must satisfy the demands of majority of its clients. :ugeek:

best regards!

ps. until you fix that, i (and most of my friends who use PT3) left partypoker and have to play on titan or some other shitty networks

We understand the frustration of those of you who play 9 max on Party. However, we will not be making the default 9 max for NL tables at this time for two reason:

1. Party may still decide to change their mind. This change is brand new and they may decide not to make all NL tables 9 max.
2. We are in a feature freeze for build 5. We are currently only working on resolving major bugs. Making this change will require testing that we don't have time for at the moment.

Once we have build 5 available and the Party tables have been stable for a while, we will look into changing the default for NL tables to be 9 max instead of 10 max. For the time being, if you exclusively play on the 9 max tables, I would recommend simply changing your Party 10 max profile to work with the 9 max tables.
