CPU and RAM are different - is it the RAM that is being used heavily? What processes use the RAM (Task Manager/Processes)? How much do you have?

OK I tried this several ways and got a lot of confusing information but I would post what seemed relevant to me.

The RAM utilization before starting PT3 is about 49%, after starting PT3 is about 55% and after starting auto import and HUD it keeps climbing until about 15 minutes later it is at 85% (I did not wait to see if it keeps climbing). The PokerTrackerHud.exe process never uses more than 22,000 Kb(KB)? of RAM and the CPU generally stays between 7% and 20%.

If I try to close the HUD after runing it on 18 tables for 15 minutes FullTilt freezes and only comes back on after I close the PokerTrackerHud.exe process from the task manager. Even after shutting down the HUD and stopping auto import the RAM was still at 85%.

I have Vista Ultimate
Core2Duo T7200
2GB RAM - I know I need more :)

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHUD.log files (zip/compress them first, call it logs.zip) to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

I tried to creat a log file as described in the thread (check enable Logging, the restart PT) but I cant find the log files in my PT folder or the logs folder...

They are in the main PT3 folder - if you have file extensions turned off it will be called PokerTracker (Text Document).

Just wanted to chime in and remind you (not sure if this has been mentioned yet) to double-check that you are running PT3 and the poker sites as admin (this is set in the icon you use to launch and is different than being logged in under an admin account).

Ok, so I've got different problem - after cache update hud acts like i have no stats at all. So i have like 7 hands on regular, which i have like 5k hands in database. I like performance though, so i don't want to roll back to beta 15... Any thoughts?

Do you have more than one database?
Did you build the cache on all of them?
