As discussed earlier in this thread - once the table types and sizes settle down to a consistant system then we'll be able to add some sensible defaults, but until they finish their changes we can't really do anything about this yet.

Please check the Party Configuration Guide in the Documentation and the PT3 HUD FAQ.

If you still have trouble after that you can submit a Bug Report and we'll investigate that way.

Why can't you add an option to Party Gaming configuration page "Treat all tables as 9-seat table by default"?
It is so easy

I bumped this issue to the development team recently and I hope something will be done soon, but I can't promise anything.

I tried to use an advice from this topic:
"If you play only 9-seat tables, use normal 10-seat table profile, just reposition all stats without clicking "treat as 9max" and save layout"

But this doesn't work.
I'll try to explain what doesn't work with screenshots.

1) Correct table
I open full 9-seat table, arrange all stats as I need and save layout.

This table from this moment (till step 4) works correct. Even if I then "reset", or click treat as 9max, and then again treat as normal. All stats are on their places.

2) Error tables
I open new table. And now it has problems.
Image

As you can see on new table some stats are in wrong place. In most cases stats are shifted to one position.
I think PT3 thinks that 10th player entered the table.

Two more screenshots with this error:

As you can see one group of stats is overlapping other - can't find it's place. PT3 tries to add 10th group of stats.

3) Reposition of error table

I mannualy fix positions on table with errors. Now stats are on right places on this table.
Then I save layout.

4) Error appears on table, correct in the past

After saving layout on previous table I open the very first table which had correct positions in the first step and press "reset" or "treat as normal"
Now stats are messed again.

So I do not know how to use layout for 10max tables on 9max tables.
Could you, please, tell me step by step what to do to use this advice?

You need to PT-icon > "treat as 9-max" THEN position the stats where you want them and PT-icon > Save Layout.
Next time you open a 9-max table click PT-icon > Treat As 9-max again and it will use the previously saved locations.

If you do not use treat as 9-max on a table then it will be treated as if it has 10 seats.

I understand this. And you do not understand me.

Many people here play multi tables and they need to click on "treat as 9-max" every new table. It is very annoying.

Some of moderators here (in this topic) told that if we play onle 9-seat table we can use 10-max layout for 9-seat tables.
But I shown with screenshots that this method can't be used.

So we are waiting for checkbox "treat all tables as 9-max by default"

I have made this point to the development team, but I'm not able to decide what order things are done in.

The method with using the 10 seat layout on 9 seat tables will only work if you do not use preferred seating - the rotation of the stats to the next seat will mess this up with preferred seating.
