Fresh install of PT3 postgre, put all my hh into the pokerstars HH ready to import, hit auto import and get the following errors.

cant open file c:\program files\poker tracker 3\logs\auto import_20080028.log(error 0:the operation could not be completed succesfully.)
cant open file c:\program files\pokerstars\handhistory\\logfilename(error 0:the operation could not be completed succesfully.)

repeat for every hh

I believe its because of the double \\ after handhistory

Also I can't post the error here in full because the save log.txt doesn't work, i choose save to and hit save and it doesnt save.

im on vista

Are you running PT3 as admin?

Open "My Computer", browse to C:\Program Files, right click the "PokerTracker 3" directory->Properties. Select the "Security" tab. Click the "Advanced" button. Choose the "Owner" tab. If it does not list "Administrators (CPU name-PC\Administrators) click the Edit button and select "Administrators (CPU name-PC\Administrators) then click Apply. If it asks to do the same for sub-directories click yes.

Best regards,

Derek

yup all set to admin - this is when doing the auto import option.

I'm now trying the manual import option on the dir and that is attempting to import files but after about 20 mins vista does the program has stopped responding type error...which I'm guessing is vista just giving up cos its taking too long to import 250K+ hands. Win2k just used to plough through them.
