We've had a proven instance where running SpadeIt alongside PT3 caused PT3 to crash. We are looking into the problem, but if you are using the SpadeIt line of programs and are experiencing problems with PT3, please try running PT3 alone to see if the problem is related to SpadeIt.

We will be looking into it on our end. We hope the SpadeIt developers will do the same.

Any news on the problems with spadeeye and pt3 running together, pt3 still crashed for me when running both together, runs fine on its own, spadeeye runs ok in both senario's.
Have you been in touch with spadeeye's developers to sort a workround for this?
I have had a look at their forums and there is no mention of this incompatability so don't think they are even aware of a problem!

I use SpadeEye, and though I don't keep it open while playing for very long, I haven't had it cause a crash in quite a while. I'll try keeping it open while playing in the near future to see if it causes problems, though.

using v3.09 spadeeye, just seems to mess up the pt3 gui, try changing tabs between table tracker and others, seems to get halfway in between changing screens then stops, also geting an access violation error when going through players and marking them as buddies (vista 64bit)

sonic,

Could you please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and reproduce these issues then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log files to a support ticket? It would help us in looking into whether we can fix these problems on our end.

Hi Everyone,

I too am having problems with SpadeEye/PT3. I purchased SpadeEye last weekend but have only started using it in the past couple of days. After several half hour datamining sessions I have found that PT3 is no longer working properly. I have been saving my datamined HH to the 'Observed Hands' database without incident. However, now that I have switched back to the default database PT3 will not read the hands that I actually play (no HH no HUD). I have restarted PT3 several times. Each time I restart PT3 the program spends time re-loading observed hands from the datamining sessions (even though I have switched back to the default database and am not running SpadeEye). Then I receive an FTP HH error (Warning: Encountered cancelled hand history). The hand # with the error is always the same.

Are hand histories being written as you play?
Is PT3 recognizing the files?
What does the auto import status window say?

As for the re-reading of observed hand histories - do you have 'move processed files' option enabled? If you don't, PT3 will have to re-read the hand histories every time the import starts.

The cancelled hand history isn't anything to worry about - it just means the table closed halfway through that hand, or your connection timed out, or something like that.
