E-mail Import

Doesn't work. Downloads the oldest 25 messages in my Sent Mail folder and that's all. Using Gmail. Why not just download tournament history related messages instead of downloading everything and having the user sift through relevant messages?

It should be connecting to your incoming mail server, not your local mail. I suspect that further improvements will be made to email imports, but I think the problem with just downloading tournament emails is that it's hard to identify the correct emails across all sites.
Are you sure you've configured it correctly?

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log file to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

Positive on proper config. Will send log when I have time.

I don't see this being a problem since PT has to parse valid messages anyway, i.e. parse error means not a tournament email.

It doesn't parse every email - only the ones that you select to import.
You shouldn't be selecting all emails in PT3 because IIRC the imported emails are removed from the server so you wouldn't get them in your email application.

Just a thought - is GMail POP3?
(actually, I guess it must be if you've got it connecting at all..)

Yeah, Gmail supports POP3.

I have reproduced this behavior in other POP3 clients, so the problem is not PT's fault. Is PT planning IMAP support?

There are some known issues using email imports using non-SSL client connections that should be fixed in the next Beta release.
