Hello. I installed Hold em manager to use for Ultimate Bet and now that I am playing again on Full Tilt poker I need PT3 working again. Unfortunately, I am having problems importing (and this has only happened since the install of holdem manager).

This is my error when I import.

2008/12/18 17:44:38: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: FATAL: database "PT3 DB" does not exist

Are you using the trial or have you purchased PT3? If you've purchased PT3, you can just click Database --> Database Management --> New to create a new database (that error indicates that the database you were importing to doesn't exist any longer). If you haven't purchased PT3 the easiest thing to do will be to completely uninstall and reinstall PT3, see this faq for a walkthrough of how to do that. You can then manually import any hands you'd imported previously and your database will be up to date.

Hi I have Purchased PT3. I created some new DBs and for some reason only one of them works (the others I get the same error). One is good enough for me though and I am glad it's working

Are you using Windows Vista? If so, make sure you've got PT3 running as Administrator (right click the desktop icon, check 'run as administrator') as that may help.

Otherwise, make sure you have the working database set as active and default (in the database management window), and you can remove the other databases via the 'remove' button on the database management window and then PT3 won't look for them again.

Please make sure you are still running PT3 and all of your poker clients as Administrator. Also please double check that your poker clients are saving hand histories; a recent FTP upgrade caused some people's systems to forget to save hand histories.

Right click the desktop icon for FTP, and see if "Run as Administrator" is checked in the drop down there. If it's not, check it, and do the same for PT3.

It's more likely to be that FTP isn't writing hands any more - several people reported that after the recent update.
