PT3 won't launch, gray box instead

All of the sudden PT3 will not launch. It brings up the logo splash, then proceeds to freeze up my computer and a gray box is left in place where the PT3 logo splash is.
Here is what Event Viewer(XP SP3) says:
"Windows cannot unload your classes registry file - it is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded when it is no longer in use."

Chris

Same problem here.
In haven't got any problem in the past. The only new thing I have done is to execute the Tournament Luck program...
I have Windows Vista.

Try rebooting once to see if that fixes it for you.
I haven't tested Tournament Luck myself, but I'll make sure to do that this morning and see if it's causing this issue (and if it is, I'll talk to the developer so we can get that fixed ASAP).

I've tried rebooting, no success. I've never used Luck analyzer. It was like all the sudden my PT3 won't launch - it just halts on the launching process and I have to kill it via task manager.

Try following the steps of
this fix and that should get things working again for you; it sounds like the error is a result of some registry corruption when running services (like PostgreSQL).

The fix didn't work, is my only option a complete reinstall? If so how to I ensure I don't lose any of my database?

Chris

This tutorial will explain how to uninstall & reinstall PostgreSQL without losing any of your data.

Whenever I try to launch PT3 it will either take an extremely long time to launch or it will freeze. Each time I try to launch PT3 I am given 3 error messages in Event Viewer (Windows XP, SP3)
Source: PostgreSQL "Waiting for server startup..."
Source: PostgreSQL "2008-12-30 14:29:47 CST LOG: loaded library "$libdir/plugins/plugin_debugger.dll""
Source: PostgreSQL "Server started and accepting connections"
Hopefully that helps

Chris

Those don't sound like error messages to me.
Either way, try reinstalling and see if that helps.

Should I keep my database or delete that as well and rebuild from the HH's?
