Ongame - import problems

Postby henjon » Sun Aug 02, 2009 9:49 am

I've just bought PT3 after the trial period during which I only imported HH from other sites. But now I'm mostly playing at Ongame, so I want to have those HH:s into PT as well. I have followed the instructions and regarding hands stored in the .db-files prior to the client update everything went well and I got about 10K hands into PT. But PT doesn't import the other hands that are stored in the new .txt-files in C:\Users\Henrik\AppData\Local\P5\Bet24\Handhistory. I have chosen this path in the "Directories configuration (Datamining)" field. And I have manually looked at the files which seems allright, at least those created after the 15th july which all have tourney-Id:s and therefor should be able to import into PT, right? (During the period I've only played SnG:s and MTT:s at Ongame) But when I begin the auto import PT just says "found 0 files to monitor". So how to fix this problem?

What version of PT3 are you running? Some of the things you say sound to me like you might be using an old version; if you're not running Build 5.1, please upgrade to it (available on our download page) and that will likely fix your issues for you.

Ty - now PT's importing the files.

One related question: If I go into this .log-files with no tournament-ID and manually enter a fake-ID to all hands, will the hands be imported then or will there be an error because PT can't create a consistent information about the fake tournament? I figured importing the hands themselves would be better than nothing...

That should work, though you will want to be careful to make sure that you use a unique "fake" tournament ID for all hands in a given tournament. Otherwise the overall aggregate info will be very confused - as PT3 would think every hand imported this way came from the same tournament!

(Edited for clarity.)
