Hey I hate to sound like such a newbie but I am to this poker tracker just downloaded it today ..

Orginially I thought that after downloading this software I would be able to track all my hand history to date with poker tracker im now relasing that this is not the case is it? or atleast I havent gotten it to work...

when I point it at my Full Tilt directory it doesnt find anything.

Import complete. 0 hands in 2,683 files were imported. (0 errors, 0 duplicates)

when I do auto import .. I get this.

Unable to launch auto-import for site: Full Tilt. Reason: FullTilt auto-importer needs to be configured.

im not even sure how to check if full tilt is recording my hand history and if it keeps it on file or not .. gotta say im a a little dissapointed though if I can track my hand history starting from this day fairly easily I guess it wont be so bad.

Please take a look at the Full Tilt Configuration Guide which will walk you through the setup process.

do I have to keep poker tracker on and running "start auto import" while I play everytime?

cause first of it was running the whole time but it didnt import my tournment hand history from today .. only yesterday.

full tilt is set to record and keep hand history for 365 days so it should be on my hard drive from todays games.

wait a second its not .. huh? somehow hand history got turned off after I turned it on .. wonder what caused that? maybe cause full tilt crashed at one point? werid. oh well turned it back on now lost todays progress :(

Yes you need to run auto import while playing if you want to have the data updated live. If you don't want the data imported until after you're done, you can use auto (or manual) import once you finish playing. Obviously, you do need Full Tilt set to save hand histories in order for PT3 to store the data. You should be able to e-mail Full Tilt support and get your played hands sent to you that you missed.
