Last time I started autoimporting hands, the "duplicate hand" box started populating. How do I get rid of them and why would they show up? The only thing that was different from normal was that I had played a tournament the previous day without using PokerTracker.

Make sure you check the "Move Processed Files" option.

That box is checked. It is still recording duplicates. It's importing files from a tournament, every though I have no tournament tables open.

When it's finished, stop auto-import, then restart it. It shouldn't read the hands anymore.

More info: It's duplicating the last tournament I played. I did not ask it to import those hands but it is doing so anyway. Did you say to just let it continue duplicating the tournament until its done, and then it'll stop doing it?

Are all of your tournaments entered into PT3? If not, it is catching up on previous tournaments that you played prior to installing PT3. Once finished, it should move the processed files. If it does not, manually move the files from your hand history directory to the processed files directory which should resolve the issue and hopefully it does not reoccur.
Best regards,
Derek

I installed pt3 several weeks ago; so, no, it's not catching up on old tourneys. The only thing it was "duplicating" are tourneys I've played in the last couple of days with pt off. Is it actually "duplicating" hands or does it just indicate that? Why is it importing them as duplicates? In the future, should I manually import such tournaments? What is suppossed to occur? I mean, all I did was not have pt on during some tourneys.

If you've played several days worth of tournaments, it might be that PT3 is merely catching up with those hands.
I don't want to spend too much time diagnosing this problem, as I will be updating the tournament support soon and that might fix this bug.
