PT3 thinks tournies start 5 hours later

I played the following tourney last night, per the PS Tourney summary, as emailed to me when over:
Tournament started 2011/02/01 21:14:02 ET
Tournament finished 2011/02/01 22:54:27 ET

However, when, in PT3, I exported Tournament Hands, for the same tourney, the Summary said:
Started: 2011/02/02 02:14:00
Finished: 2011/02/02 03:54:00

As you can see, this tends to screw up my daily results. I know I should reset the "My day starts at..." to something other than 12 midnight, but, for the life of me, I don't know whether to set the day start at 0500 or 1900 (5 AM or 9 PM) Duh.

Could some mathematical genius :geek: help out an old man with a sluggish brain, & TIA?

It looks like the exports are in GMT rather than the Eastern time zone. Could you attach the original hand histories to a support ticket so that we can investigate further and look to get this fixed?

If you'll normally be playing at that time and want it to appear in the same day you'd be better off setting your day to start at 5 or 6am given the way the dates were pushed.

That would appear to be the case.

Both Done, please see ticket 104689

& BTW, even though I did reset the time to start my day @ 0500, and restarted PT3, it still got a time setting 5 hours out, recording a tourney I played today, between 1406 & 1550 Eastern, as Started: 2011/02/02 19:06:00, Finished: 2011/02/02 20:50:00, times not yet seen here in the Eastern Time Zone :o .
Must be the weather :D

Yeah we'll have to look into what is going on here.

Sorry, m8, but this ain't fixed. Please see the ticket, and the attached files, which clearly demonstrate this is not solved. What started as a PITA, is now an issue :-(.

I also run PT2, and, to my surprise, note that the old "Time Zone" and "Time Settings" issues which we used to face when opening a new install/update of PT2, seems to be back with us. Might this "Time shift" issue be a legacy?

Just a thought

Did you purge and reimport the files in the latest beta (3.09.3)?

This won't be a legacy issue as PT3 is a complete ground up rewrite - it doesn't share any code with PT2.

No, just installed 3.09.03 over the 3.08 ver I had previously. If I should purge and reimport, what should I purge, and what should I reimport, please?
Surely not all my HH & Tourney Summaries?

Noted, thanx. Was just a thought.

Not all, just the affected tournament(s).

You can do a simpler test though to make sure it will work. Create a new database via the Database Management --> New option. Import one (or two) of the affected tournaments. Check to see if the problem is fixed. If it's fixed there, then purging and reimporting the affected tournaments will resolve the situation in your main database.
