PT3 Suddenly stopped working

I had PT3 on Vista for about a year and did not have any problems with it. I updated to Windows 7 this weekend and I've been battling bugs ever since.

I was playing in a MTT on Tilt and would save the layout. Every time I moved tables the it would move the data around from the player boxes but keep the boxes in the same place. For example when I moved tables, may data would be moved to another players box across the table and some other player's data would be in my box. When I moved to the final table it stopped working altogether.

Now it will not work on ring games or tournaments. I'm getting the message...

2011/02/06 17:18:10: Auto-Import beginning
2011/02/06 17:18:14: Full Tilt: Starting auto-import.
2011/02/06 17:18:14: Full Tilt: Found 0 files to monitor.

It's just not finding the hands. I didn't change the path and I rebooted the cpu and pt3. Not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.

I tried it on Bodog and it worked fine, so it's just FTP

Do you have hands set to save in Full Tilt? If you don't have the hands set to save, that would cause this sort of behavior.

They are set to save on Tilt and on PT the hand history directory on the directory configuration matches the directory I've given Tilt to send the files to.

I've told Tilt to save the hands to C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\FTP

When go to that folder, there are no hand histories or files there. There are a few .txt files from the mtt mentioned above in the processed folder.

Should I create another folder to save the hands to?

Thanks!

Saving to a subfolder of the PokerTracker 3 directory can cause problems - try creating a directory like C:\Hands\ and saving the hands there and see if things work better for you.

That seems to have made a world of difference. Thanks for your help!
