problem with stats after buy in and waiting for the 2nd hand

Hi, Windows 7, I have chosen seat 6 for the 10max table, PT & PokerStars.

So, I use PT3 for (1) scanning tables before I sit down at the table (2) sitting and waiting for the 1st hand (3) continue playing with stats.

(1) and (3) work fine, but when I sit and wait, I get the wrong stats UNTIL the second hand (or after the first hand), that's not fine for different reasons.
Can someone help?

Are you using a Preferred Seat? If you are using a preferred seat but are not dealt in PT3 cannot tell that it needs to rotate the stats until you have been dealt in for a hand.

Yes, my preferred seat is seat 6, I've chosen that seat explicitly in PokerStars AND PokerTracker 3.

So, the hand grabber can recognize my seat and grab hands, but the HUD cannot use that information and I have to defend my first big blind without stats?!

Is this correct? - If yes, are there workarounds? Should I not chose a preferred seat in PokerStars, only later a "Sit me here" (context menu)?

That's correct - until you're dealt in we do not know that the stats are not being rotated. There are no workarounds other than what you describe - though you could also just look to see where the name is of the player who is raising you if you face a raise on your first hand and you may do something dependent on his stats.

Unf the workaround does not work: when I change my seat using the 'Sit here'-command, the HUD will not ("never") recognize the change.

And when I usually play 9-12 fullring tables I do not have the time to look for the correct stats - and even worse: I do NOT know, that the stats are incorrect (esp when I start playing or when I open new tables, what I do from time to time). - And unf the big blind-defense is important.

Thank you for your help! - I do not understand why the HUD is not clear about me sitting on seat 6.
