13 instances of postgres.exe running? Normal?

Postby mclelands » Sat May 10, 2008 6:15 pm

My computer has been laggy lately and I haven't been able to figure it out. One thing I've noticed is when I open task manager and the processes tab, I have 13 instances of postgres.exe running. 10 of them are 25-40 MB, the other 3 are 3-5 Mb. Is this normal?

Thanks

Yes, this is normal (I had the same question a while back):

Awesome, thanks for the reply. Guess I'll look elsewhere.
