PT3 using a lot of CPU time

I'm playing 5 tables on everest with auto-import and with the HUD...

the HUD is fine but once started poker tracker is very slow.. then I noticed that it's using maximum CPU time! I stopped the HUD and the import feature, but it doesn't change anything. It happens everytime.

Looks like an infinite loop...

by the way I have Core 2 Duo processor with 2 GB of RAM

How many hands are in your database?

Are you switching between tabs rapidly while importing and playing?

Best regards,

Derek

I have 22k hands..

i'm not switching tabs... just playing with the HUD on 5 tables and CPU goes up and never comes down, even if I remove auto-import and the HUD.

Similar problem here (25k hands), also after finishing the session (9 Tables) and closing everest, the program keeps on using 99% CPU.

As I said, the CPU going at maximum happens every day for me.. I tried different settings so maybe you could find it faster..

I did not use the HUD. It took a lot more time, but the CPU finally went crazy. Auto-import is on and I use the current date as a filter. I occasionaly use the refresh button.

let me know if you want me to try something

The next time this happens (without the HUD), hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open your Task Manager. Under the Processes tab, look for 'PokerTracker.exe' and provide us with PokerTracker.exe's CPU and memory usage.

Please also send us the 'PokerTracker.log' or 'PokerTracker' (text document), located in your main PokerTracker 3 directory, via the Support system which will help us troubleshoot and pinpoint what is causing this problem.

Best regards,

Derek

I did as you said. Let me know if I can help. I wouldn't mind running a debug version if you want.
