Hi.

Having mega issues trying to get PT3 working with Win8. it was working at one point and now i just cant get it to work.

I get this message "connection refused"

So then i followed the help guides on this, uninstalled postgress and now i cant reinstall it.... so basically cant get pt3 to work with win8 and also cant reinstall postgres.

life is hard.

please help me

Please try creating a new folder on the disk where you want to install PostgreSQL (like "C:\PostgreSQL") and install PostgreSQL to there - that can help on Windows 8.

okay trying that but it keeps asking me for a password to continue with the installation, trying dbpass but getting no luck

leaving it blank and it still asks for a password


ahhh damn life is hard.... allso can you confirm if my copy of PT3 will import zoom plo hands via pm? if it wont then theres no point me trying to spend time on this

There are some issues with the Zoom HUD at the moment in build 7493. We are going to release a fix for this but I don't have an ETA for it at this time.

okay well it would be nice to start tracking my hands again so any ideas how i can reinstall postgress without a password? or anyway to check what the password is when its not installed?????

You can find our Uninstall/Reinstall guides for PostgreSQL here. If you follow the bit about removing the service user you'll be able to recreate it when you reinstall and use whatever password you specify. Our default is either svcPASS83 or dbpass though in case that's useful.

okay thanks that worked the password was a problem and i always thought it was dbpass 100% of the time. cheers
