9-handed and 6-max stats mixed up

Hi,
Something very strange happened today. I was playing full ring NL on FTP and PT3 was auto importing my hands. However, when I clicked the refresh button, I saw that my hands were being added to my 6max stats instead of my full ring stats.
I deleted my DB and am now re-importing my hands in a new DB.
Could it be because several players at my tables were sitting out?

It wasn't because players were sitting out. My new DB contains 100 6max hands less than my old DB and I imported every single HH file, which means that full ring hands were added to 6max stats in my old DB. Very strange.

There is a bug in the "Adjust qualifying tables limits" function at the moment, which means that if the number of players at a table drops down to the next size, then hands will be imported and recorded as the shorter size - eg if you are playing a 10 seat table and 4 sit out any hands played like that will be recorded as 6 max.
The next version has a fix for this so that the size of the table will be decided at the first hand, so as long as the first hand has more than 6 players all subsequent hands will be recorded as full ring.

What will happen if the table is shorthanded (detected as 6 max) then fills up to more than 6 players?
With the current version it makes the hud crash...

Yes, that drawback occurred to me after I'd replied..
Do you have 6-max and full ring tables open together? I think the system is originally intended to work when you use EITHER 6-max or ring tables, really.
I guess the simple answer is to make sure that you only open ring tables that have more than 6 players seated, but that's not a very good answer.
I'm sure an option will be added to convert the table type after it's been imported.

I usually don't mix 6 max and FR tables but I'd like to do that (right now I have made two layouts for 6 max and FR and I have to replace the layouts file before the sessions, so that's pretty impossible).
Anyway when there is a big fish in a shorthanded FR table you can understand it would be very frustrating to not sit there without risking to crash the hud later when the table fills up. It would be nice to have this problem fixed... after the everest freezing problem of course

Yes, agreed. I'm sure it will get sorted in it's turn.
