Clustering bug?

I imported ~30k hands which took around 10 mins. Then the window "Clustering PokerTracker 3 Beta" came up and is still running about two hours later. The Import status window seems to imply that the clustering is complete though.

From the import window:

2008/02/06 12:25:29: Import beginning
2008/02/06 12:25:29: Converting PokerTracker v2 Database: PT_R_LPTP

2008/02/06 12:25:33: Database contains 14,551 Full Tilt hands.

Is the "Done" button still disabled?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes, the "Done" button was gray the whole time. I killed the process and restarted. I tried to cluster again and it completed in about one minute without any problems.

Another thing: The "Add alias" operation took about 5 minutes with the program just freezing and not giving any clues about status or progress. It is supposed to take that long?

Rasmus

Next time that happens, please attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket.

Adding an alias is designed to take the performance hit up front, rather than for every retrieve or insert. It will take a while if you have a large database. The unresponsiveness will be fixed.
