Manual Import problem from PokerStars

Postby Telaeus » Sun Jun 01, 2008 6:37 pm

Ok, I'm using PokerTracker 3. Whenever I request a hand history from PokerStars, and try and update, I get this error:

2008/06/01 18:33:51: Invalid hand history line: PokerStars Game #17788100006: Hold'em Limit ($1/$2) - 2008/05/30 - 00:58:03 (ET) Table 'Andraimon' 10-max Seat #10 is the button Seat 1: someone's name ($36.75 in chips) (Line #4214)

It looks like it's a problem with how PokerStars is sending me the info. Here's how I receive it in my email:

PokerStars Game #17788100006: Hold'em Limit ($1/$2) - 2008/05/30 - 00:58:03 (ET) Table 'Andraimon' 10-max Seat #10 is the button Seat 1: someone's name ($36.75 in chips)

No matter how I cut and paste it (I've tried Notepad (no text wrapping), Wordpad, Word, etc... I can't get it to give me the line break at the right place (after the (ET).

It's really frustrating to have to go into each hand and put in a line break.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Try using Beta 12 and see if you get the same problem. If you do, please attach one of these files to a support ticket.

Well, it was a stupid solution. Outlook had an option to "Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages". It was checked. I unchecked it, and the problem has fixed itself. Thanks.
