Just did update first screen says this is an older database. Import and some reports may not work properly. Please creat a new database. Same thing when PT opens.

Yes, you need to create a new database. Go to the Database menu -> Database Management. In the window that appears, click "New", then create the database.

Is that why I get this errors when hands are loaded?

Yes. As Josh said, you'll need to make a new database in this release since there has been some database changes.

Actually, I still get the error even with the new database created (and yes, I switched to new database as being the active one).

Did you also select the new database in the two dropdowns on the auto import preferences tab? To the right of the site list.

Now why would I do something intelligent like that?

How do you import the data from the old databse, to the new dadabase ???

mine seems to freeze while loading so i cant even create a new database

There's no way to do that at this point. You'll need to re-import from the original hand histories.
