Trouble importing Ipoker mined hands.

Postby Bulldyke » Sat Jun 21, 2008 11:44 am

Stats are just completly wrong after import, strong players have 0 pfr and 0 att to steal and fold BB to steal over large 1k sample sizes also winrates are supersuspicuos over 25bb over 1k samples and several players seem to have abnormal winrates.
So I guess I've destroyed my database by importing these hands...

Just checked my pt2 database for these hands and preflop raise, folded bb to steal and attempt to steal is not imported correctly in pt3, but works fine in pt2.

you had your db backed up of course before doing the import; so you can just roll-back for now, yes?

:o :o :o

don't know where you go from here - editing the database manually is a no-brainer - let's hope for once, it's a fault with the app. and not your db.

maybe wait here for one of the moderators to give their considered view.

for future reference, always, always force a backup prior to making major changes to your db; just so you can roll-back if you have to...

Where were these observed hands generated from?
Do you still have the hand history files?

If you have a registered version of PT3, please try creating a new test database and import the hands again - see if you get the same results.
IF you do, attach the HH files to our Support system , and link to this thread.

1, ipoker and yes
2, got two databases both are bad. Actually created a db for observed hands checked the box in autoimport to move observed hands to that db. However I manually import and today I forgot to change active db and when you manually import apparantly all hands go into the active db.
3, will do

1. iPoker doesn't write hand histories for observed hands - are you using a datamining app.?

yes I do, also I sent hhs through the support system. And imports works fine in pt2 with correct stats.
